NEKOMATA is an italian Modern Metal band born in 2022 with the evolution of the codename band PROJECT KASHA, from the very same founder members Filippo Zavattari (ex Frozen Crown) bass and backing vocals and Andrea Cappellari (ex Skeletoon) guitars and programming, then joined by Andrea Olivieri vocals and Nicolò Buganza drums.
The band stands out, with the new name and formation, for its continuous strive for highest possible level production, modern sound and melodic singing, making it hard to label it in the known genres of metal creating a new one: the power-core.
